About Baltic Retrofit
How It Started
Baltic Retrofit started from a personal interest in vintage electronics, original car audio systems, and repairing things that most people would simply replace.
One thing we know for sure is that many of these radios have been part of a vehicle for decades. They belong in classic cars, not in the bin.
What started as a personal interest slowly became a workshop.
One radio turned into another, then another, and before long radios were arriving not only from Lithuania but from all over Europe and eventually from other parts of the world.
Today we still operate the same way.
No production line. No large team. No shortcuts.
Most projects arrive because somebody has been told their radio cannot be repaired.
Or they have been told Bluetooth cannot be added, or that the radio is simply not worth the effort.
One thing we learned over the years is that honesty matters more than sales. Not every radio can be saved. Not every project makes sense. If we believe a repair is unlikely to last, we will say so.
The same goes for Bluetooth retrofits.
Preserving the original look of the radio is usually more important than adding every possible modern feature.
We are not trying to build the biggest workshop in the industry.
We simply enjoy keeping original car audio alive.
Thank you for visiting Baltic Retrofit and for supporting a small independent workshop.
