How Our Car Radio Repair Process Works
Working with vintage and modern car radios is not a one-click service. Every unit is different, and proper repair or upgrade requires inspection, discussion, and approval before any work begins.
Below is a clear overview of how our service process works from start to finish.
1. Initial Contact & Assessment
First, we discuss the issue with your unit.
You can contact us with details about the radio model, symptoms, and any previous work done.
Based on this information, we’ll advise whether the unit is suitable for repair or upgrade and what the next steps should be.
2. Shipping Your Unit
Once we agree to proceed, you send the radio to us for inspection.
All units are carefully diagnosed in our workshop. Vintage radios often suffer from age-related electronic or mechanical faults that cannot be reliably identified without hands-on testing.
3. Diagnosis & Cost Estimate
After inspection, we prepare a clear assessment and cost estimate.
No work is carried out without your approval.
If the repair or upgrade is not economically reasonable, we will tell you honestly before anything is done.
4. Repair or Upgrade Work
Only after approval do we proceed with the agreed work.
This may include:
- electronic fault repair
- mechanical restoration
- preventive component replacement
- or invisible modern upgrades such as Bluetooth integration
All work is done with the goal of keeping the radio visually correct and period-appropriate.
5. Final Testing & Return Shipping
Once completed, the unit is fully tested and carefully packed.
We then ship the radio back to you, ready for reinstallation in your vehicle.
